What the fuck is a AAA title?

AAA Titles or Triple-A titles are the bread and butter of the holiday release schedule. Things like Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Fallout 3 are AAA Titles.

Gears 2 or Fable 2 are not good examples of AA titles, but you did a decent job explaining this useless term to me.

Well then, now that you know what it means, why don't you give us a few "good examples."

The term is meaningless. The definition is created by an individual, simply for the purpose of annoying another individual. Therefore, I don't have any good examples.

No, "AAA" was a term created by the media to refer to a specific set of high profile titles that are highly anticipated, have high production values and will sell a bajillion copies. These titles are vitally important to the industry and so merited their own designation.

I greatly dislike that kind of media perspective and refuse to acknowledge the designation of AAA games. There is no such thing. It's a subjective decision like any other made by video game journalists.
